JAGS celebrates greatest ever A Level results with stunning outcomes

As national results fall back in line with pre-pandemic levels, a remarkable 46% of all A Level results are graded A* at James Allen’s Girls’ School.

JAGS pupils excelled during this summer’s exams to earn the school’s highest ever A Level results outside of the pandemic.

Today’s results reveal:
• 46% of results were graded A*
• 96% of results were graded A*/B
• One in four pupils earned 3 A* grades or higher
• One in five pupils received straight A* grades

Speaking of the success, Head Mrs Alex Hutchinson said: “Congratulations to our incredible Year 13 pupils who have achieved this outstanding set of A Level results this year.

“Hidden beneath our best ever A Level results are so many individual triumphs which reflect the hard work, determination and resilience of each and every student during their time with us at JAGS. This is brought into such sharp focus by the fact that this cohort were at the heart of the pandemic during their GCSE years, and we could not be prouder of their subsequent achievements.

“Quite simply this cohort has been a joy to teach, illuminating the school with their infectious laughter, friendships and positivity. We could not have asked for better student leaders and ambassadors for the school.

“I speak for everyone here at JAGS when I say we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish as you embark on your individual adventures and wish you the very best of luck for all that lies ahead.

“Our congratulations are of course extended to the JAGS families and our dedicated staff who have provided a constant source of support and inspiration for our students.”
