Beyond the curriculum

Our extensive co-curricular programme allows pupils to try exciting new activities, to forge new friendships and to develop skills for life. All pupils have options to attend a huge range of both lunchtime and after-school clubs, and enjoy the spirit of adventure and exploration these opportunities provide.

Meet our girls

Isla, Year 1

Hi, I’m Isla. You can always find me singing or playing the ukulele. I love learning about ancient history, especially when fossils and dinosaurs are involved. I’d like to be a photographer when I grow up.

Emilie, Year 3

Hi, I’m Emilie. I like everything at school especially Swimming, Drama and Choir. I love being here at JAGS as everyone is super friendly and kind.

Chloe, Year 5

Hi, I’m Chloe. My favourite subject is Maths as I really enjoy solving problems. I love Sport here at school – in particular when we play hockey, netball and badminton. I also enjoy relaxing in the library reading action and adventure books.

Excellent foundations are laid in Reception and the Pre-Prep where children’s development is aided by the well-planned curriculum with a generous range of resources. In the Prep School, literacy levels are exceptional with pupils using figurative language, excellent adjectives and clear understanding of comprehension skills. They are articulate as a result of the many opportunities on offer, taking part and leading assemblies, house events and year group plays.

Independent Schools Inspectorate

Heaven on earth for children. For bright, sparky girls who strive to do their best, it’s hard to imagine a more exciting environment. With its enviable facilities, energetic teaching and dedicated leadership, it’s unrivalled in this part of town. These charming, articulate and happy girls seem ready to take on the world by the time they leave.
