JAGS pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II
1926 -2022
The staff, pupils and wider community of James Allen’s Girls’ School are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Her life was one defined by inspiring leadership, decency and dignity. For 70 years, Her Majesty served our country and the Commonwealth with distinction and became one of the world’s most esteemed heads of state.
Generations of JAGS pupils have admired her strength and devotion to duty. During our nation’s darkest times, she provided a constant beacon of grace, hope and stability.
Few have shaped history like Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Much loved monarch, leader and mother, her legacy will continue to inspire our community.
At this sad time, we extend our sincere sympathy and most heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and all those mourning her death.
As we now enter the 10-day period of national mourning, the school community will seek to honour and celebrate the life of our monarch as we reflect on her extraordinary service to our country.
