Results 2026: JAGS Students Celebrate Outstanding A Level Success

JAGS students are celebrating another year of exceptional A Level results, maintaining the school’s place among the highest-performing in the country.

The Class of 2026 has made a significant contribution to the life of the school, and today’s achievements reflect the hard work, dedication and intellectual curiosity students have demonstrated throughout their time at JAGS:

• 38% of results were graded A*
• 75% of results were graded A*/A
• 93% of results were graded A*/B
• 15% of students received straight A*s

These outcomes place JAGS 8th nationally among independent schools and 5th among independent girls’ schools for the proportion of A* grades achieved, according to an early snapshot of school performance provided by The Times’ A Level School League Table.

JAGS is delighted to share these remarkable grades and immensely proud of its leavers, who are now poised to take the first steps towards their exciting next chapters.

These outcomes continue JAGS’ long-standing tradition of academic excellence, with more than three-quarters of all A Level grades awarded over the past three years graded A* or A.

Mrs Alex Hutchinson, Head of JAGS, said: “I am delighted for the Class of 2026. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves and all that they have accomplished during their time at JAGS.

“While today’s outcomes are undoubtedly a cause for celebration, it is important to remember that every grade represents an individual journey. Each student’s success reflects not only their own efforts, but also the support of dedicated teachers, families and friends who have championed them along the way. Taken together, these stories underpin the consistently high standards our students continue to uphold year after year.

“This special group of students has made an enormous contribution to school life. They have embraced opportunities with enthusiasm, supported one another with kindness, and helped shape the vibrant community we enjoy today.

“While we shall miss them greatly, we are excited to see where their talents, passions and ambitions take them next, and we wish them every success and happiness for the future.”
