Results 2025: JAGS Students Awarded Remarkable A Level Grades

Head Alex Hutchinson has praised students’ “outstanding” A Level results after they excelled in their summer exams, with a fifth of students receiving three A*s or more in their grades.

JAGS is incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 who are now preparing for their exciting next chapters after today’s results revealed:

  • 37% of results were graded A*
  • 76% of results were graded A*/A
  • 93% of results were graded A*/B

Not only do the headline figures show the sheer depth of talent within the year group, but special mention goes to the seven students who earned straight A* grades across four subjects– an extraordinary achievement! On top of this, around two-thirds of students picked up straight A*/A grades.

Mrs Alex Hutchinson, Head of JAGS, said: “Our Year 13 leavers should be so proud of what they have achieved during their time at JAGS and today’s outstanding results provide the perfect ending to their journey with us.

As we celebrate with the Class of 2025 it is important to take a moment to remember that behind the headline figures, every single grade represents an individual story – of quiet determination and assiduity leading to those special moments of breakthrough and personal triumph.

“It has been a joy to watch this cohort lead the school and a privilege to witness their development, both academically and personally. I know they will carry the values and friendships formed here into whatever comes next.

“Finally, I would like to thank our dedicated staff and supportive families for helping guide these students through their Sixth Form years. We wish them all the very best as they take their next steps.”

Mat Weeks, Head of Sixth Form, added: “It’s been a privilege to work with this exceptional group of year 13 students; their immense talents have been complemented by a thoroughly conscientious approach to all endeavours.

“While this fantastic set of results truly speaks for itself, just as impressive has been the way they have supported one another and led our school community with kindness and compassion. The contributions the Class of 2025 have made to school life over the last two years have been invaluable.

“I am incredibly proud to congratulate them on achieving these stellar A Level results and wish each of them continued success in their future.”

In the coming weeks, JAGS will be sharing more details about the exciting destinations of the Class of 2025.
