JAGS releases first Sustainability Report
JAGS has today published its first-ever Sustainability Report, highlighting the school’s recent achievements as it takes great strides towards achieving carbon neutrality.
The report also outlines the school’s carbon footprint for the 2022-23 academic year and will serve as a transparent and valuable benchmark against which progress will be measured.
Since joining JAGS in 2022, Sustainability Lead Priya Hira has spearheaded innovative, school-wide initiatives and developed a five-pillared sustainability plan addressing key areas of Energy, Travel, Waste, Internal Infrastructure and the Natural Environment.
Priya commented: “We are so proud to publish James Allen’s Girls’ School’s first Sustainability Report and show the world what we have been working on. Our entire community has been fantastic in supporting our long-term sustainability goals, and the achievements outlined in the report would not have been possible without the efforts of staff, parents and of course our enthusiastic students.
“We hope you enjoy reading the report and look forward to many more years of collaboration and continued progress!”
