JAGS celebrates best ever GCSE results
Students rewarded after two years of dedication, earning the school’s highest GCSE results.
We are so proud to learn that our Year 11 students excelled in their first public examinations.
Today’s results reveal:
- 57% of all results were Grade 9
- 81% of all results were Grade 9 or 8
- 92% of all results were Grade 9, 8 or 7 (equivalent to A* or A)
- Over a third of students achieved straight Grade 8 or 9 results.
Head Mrs Alex Hutchinson said: “These phenomenal results bear witness to the incredible work ethic and passion for learning that our Year 11s have displayed during their GCSE studies.
“As a year group they have been a joy to teach, and we hope they take a moment to appreciate and celebrate this unprecedented achievement.
“We are so grateful to everyone who supported this talented year group along the way; from the staff members who have gone above and beyond to the JAGS families offering unwavering support to our students.
“We now look forward to welcoming them back to the Sixth Form in September as they begin their A Levels and continue their journey with us as leaders and role models of our community.”
