Alumna Rachel Corp delivers inspiring talk to Sixth Form

Sixth Form students kicked off the Spring Term with a brilliant and thoughtful talk from JAGS alumna Rachel Corp (Class of 1990).

Rachel, currently the CEO of ITN, shared insights from her successful career in journalism, her thoughts on the evolving news landscape and answered a number of excellent questions from our students.

Following the talk, Elsa (Y13) shared her thoughts: “I found the lecture extremely engaging—it was clear that Rachel is very passionate and proud of her role at ITN. I hadn’t realised just how important her role is until after the lecture, upon further research—not only due to her modesty but also because of the tone of her lecture and the way she spoke to us—as equals.

“I particularly enjoyed hearing the details of her journey and how each step led her to where she is today. It was also very inspiring to hear from not only a woman but also a JAGS alumna. As someone who has always considered journalism but not pursued it, hearing her story has definitely inspired me, as the career now seems more attainable in the future!”
