Young Art 2022

Well done to all the JAGS pupils whose work was selected for the Young Art 2022 exhibition at the Royal College of Art.  Work from students in the Pre-Prep to the Sixth Form made it into the show. Particular congratulations to Saskia in Year 11 (now Year 12) who won the Printmaking prize for her print of her brother cleaning the toilet which she created at home in lockdown.

Young Art is an annual exhibition of children’s painting, drawings and prints. There are over 5000 entries from around 70 schools mainly in London.  The pictures are judged by a panel of leading contemporary artists with over 700 pieces of artwork chosen to be displayed. All money raised from this annual event goes towards research into childhood cancer. The theme for this year’s exhibition was Looking Out.
