JAGS Music Scholars perform at St Bride’s Church
The students gave stunning performances at the beautiful church on Friday lunchtime.
It was wonderful to hear our Music Scholars perform at St Bride’s Church again on Friday 11th March. It was incredible to be back again after two years, and to be able to welcome back parents and guests to the recital.
We enjoyed Elyssa performing Bach’s Prelude and Gigue from Suite in G, Ellie performing Bartók’s Romanian Dances 4, 5 & 6, Myfanwy performing Schumann’s Romance No 1, Ola performing Haydn’s Corcerto in C – first movement, Safiya performing Debussy’s La fille aux cheveux de lin, Emily performing Arutiunian’s Concerto in A flat – Andante – Allegro vivace, Hannah performing Fauré’s Romance and Viola performing Wieniawski’s Dudziarz ‘The Bagpipe Player’.
Congratulations to our talented musicians for such powerful and moving performances.
