JAGS Pre-prep Shortlisted for Pre-Prep of the Year at the TES Independent School Awards 2021
The most outstanding institutions that the independent sector has to offer have been recognised at the 2021 Tes Independent School Awards.
Last month, it was revealed that James Allen’s Pre-Prep was one of only eight schools shortlisted in the Pre-Prep School of the Year category at the Tes Independent School Awards.
Speaking about this extraordinary achievement, Mrs Elizabeth Channon, Head of the Pre-Prep has said,
‘I feel very proud to lead this wonderful school and to be shortlisted for this award. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole Pre-Prep community.’
Tes editor Jon Severs said: “After a difficult year for all schools, it is an honour to celebrate the Tes Independent School awards, not only to celebrate excellent practice but to ensure that practice is shared far and wide. We received an unparalleled number of entries this year, which is testament to the great work all have done during the pandemic. The schools that have been shortlisted should be proud – it’s a remarkable achievement.”
Our Pre-Prep was up against some tough competition from up and down the country, and it was announced on Friday night that unfortunately we had not won the award. Congratulations to St Peter’s in York who did win, and to everyone else who was shortlisted.
