The arts are woven into the fabric of JAGS.
JAGS girls make music for the love of it, but regularly perform in competitions and concerts both in London and throughout Europe. We’re proud of the legacy of Vaughan Williams and Holst, JAGS earliest music teachers. A practical and creative approach to music-making is enriched by over 30 visiting music teachers and experienced professionals.
Pupils’ exceptional art is on display everywhere using a rich variety of media. Girls express themselves through visual images for the simple joy of the exploration and self-expression, but sometimes it’s good to see work recognised in exhibitions both internally and externally.
Sophisticated production work is the hallmark of the JAGS drama department. The professionally designed theatre makes for dynamic and innovative performances. Taking productions to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is an annual thrill. JAGS regularly collaborates with Dulwich College on productions and everyone can get involved whether on or off the stage.
