Congratulations to the Year 7, 8 & 9 athletics teams who all convincingly won the Southwark athletics championships the week before half term.

The junior & intermediate track and field teams both won their Regional Championships last Thursday.  We now wait to see if they are in the top 12 scoring teams in the country to qualify for the National Finals.  Well done to both teams – a fantastic result.

Congratulations to the following girls who produced some excellent results in the recent Kent and Surrey Athletics Championships:
Yemisi Sofolarin:  Kent - 1st in Under 15 Discus
Sophie Parkes:  Kent – 1st in Under 17 800m and 1500m
Georgie Hay:  Surrey – 3rd in Under 15 800m
Natasha Sinha:  Kent – 3rd in Under 15 800m
Breagha Campbell:  Surrey – 3rd in 800m, 1st in Under 13 1500m
Katie Snowden:  Surrey – 1st in Under 20 800m

Well done to the Year 9 Rounders team who won the St Dunstans tournament just before half term. Medals are awarded to Fiona Basham, Rosie Hunter Jones, Grace Bryan, Ella Balinska, Florence Savage, Emily Rees, Georgie Hay, Jessica Marchal, Yemisi Sofolarin and Georgina Tay

Having got through earlier rounds, over half term Juliet Edey gave an excellent performance in water polo at a training camp held in Marlborough and was selected for the England Talent Programme development water polo squad for 1996/97 born girls. Well done Juliet!
