Sports news and results 23 May 2011

Congratulations to both the Junior and Intermediate track and field teams who won the first round of the English Schools’ competition last week.  They now go on to the Regional Finals in June.  A special mention must go to Year 9 Ella Balinska who threw a fantastic 33m in the javelin – she is now ranked 7th in the Country and will almost certainly qualify for the English Schools’ Championships in July. Well done to all the athletes.
