The girls in Reception had a wonderful time on Wednesday when they cruised down The Thames from Westminster Pier to Greenwich. They had lots of fun spotting the many famous landmarks on the way.
At The National Maritime Museum more fun was in store after lunch when they completed an ‘I spy’ worksheet finding such artefacts as a lighthouse light, a giant propeller and a yacht. The girls particularly enjoyed being at the helm of a boat as it rocked as if on the high seas.
Many thanks to all the parents who accompanied the children for the day. |
