We feel sure that everyone would like to say a big thank you to Madame Gilbert and Monsieur Echafaki for organising such a wonderful French Week. The children ate their way through lots of pains au chocolat, croissants and crêpes during the café on Monday morning and were extremely positive about the array of French delicacies, including frogs’ legs and snails, during Wednesday afternoon’s ‘Dégustation’. The French storytelling sessions were much enjoyed on Tuesday afternoon; the children loved hearing some of their favourite stories in French. For the children in Year Two, the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the day trip to Lille on Thursday where they went shopping in the town centre, lunched at Brasserie Le Flore, visited Le Parc de La Citadelle and had a guided tour of Le Musée des Beaux Art.
