Congratulations to the Y4 Netball Team who won the U9 Netball Tournament at St Christopher’s on Wednesday. JAPS faced a very tough match to start as Blackheath Prep beat them last term 4-1. The team have been working incredibly hard and have improved in leaps and bounds since October and managed to beat Blackheath this time, 2-1. From then on the team grew in confidence and got stronger with each match.
JAPS played 7 schools and won all 7 matches, in fact, the team only conceded 1 goal all afternoon. This superb performance is the result of hard work and patience. Miss DeSalis and Mrs Woodward would like to thank the Y4’s for being so helpful and well-behaved all afternoon. The girls were a joy to take away and a credit to the school. Thanks also to the Y4 parents who supported the girls all afternoon; you were brilliant!
