South of the River Swimming Gala
On 26 January, we swam in the finals of the South of the River gala, hosted by JAPS. Eleven other schools competed against JAPS; we had two teams, who both swam very successfully. There was some phenomenal swimming, especially by Zita Collier, Imogen Marcar and the Y6 medley relay team (Lilla Campbell, Sophie Mascarenhas, Lily Freeman and Medina Rahman), who beat Alleyn’s for the first time in four years. Congratulations to all the lucky ones who managed to receive a medal – you definitely deserved it. We are both very proud to say that last night we were able to hold the winning shield because we won!
