During a very full School Council meeting on Thursday morning, the Form Captains shared their ideas on what helps them to learn. Girls at JAPS learn best when:
· there are interactive activities on the whiteboard
· they are allowed to work with each other, in pairs or groups
· there is lots of encouragement.

Head Girls, India Snelling and Medina Rahman, reported on the tuck shop that they are discussing with Miss Stack. The suggestion is that fresh fruit, dried fruit and cereal bars will be available to buy at Rec times for girls who have forgotten their snack. More details coming soon about this project.
A few of the other exciting suggestions included displaying photos of the House Captains (which 2 Form Captains are going to do next week), inviting visitors, such as teachers, governors, parents or House Captains, to attend certain School Council meetings and having chocolate brownies every Friday.
