Recycling Assembly
On Tuesday morning, the Staff Eco-committee and 5J gave a Recycling Assembly which was very successful and exciting to be part of. We all made our own brilliant plastic bin bag dresses and waltzed into the hall proudly! We were dotted around the room, mixed in with the other children who were surprised to see us standing in register order to read the great fact about recycling that we each had found. Once having all read, we stood in lines of houses from all corners of the room. We then had a fun relay race where we had to take an item from a bag and put it in the correct bin, involving the audience as much as possible. I think that they really enjoyed it. Miss Raimes showed us a few pictures of a family who only filled one plastic bag of rubbish in a whole year! Now I definitely have a good New Year’s resolution for next year!
