On one of the hottest days of the year, JAGS, including JAPS, held its annual invitational Biathlon competition here, competing against 8 other senior schools. The girls were all presented with their trophies and medals last week and the senior school results were as follows:
Y7 JAGS team (Izzy Lamport Went, Nancy Powell and Madeleine Clague) - 3rd
Y8 JAGS team (Breagha Campbell, Sophie Lewis Ward and Rosa Collier) - 1st.
Congratulations to Breagha Campbell who won the competition individually.
Y9 JAGS team (Vicky Picken, Tilly Craddock and Katie Aitchison) - 1st. Well done to Vicky Picken who finished 2nd and Tilly Craddock who finished 3rd individually.
JAGS won the overall trophy. A huge congratulations to all the girls involved for keeping their cool, and to the JAGS and JAPS organisers of a highly successful event! Photos. Many congratulations to Sophie Parkes who came 5th in the Regional Triathlon championships. She has now been selected to compete in the National finals in November.
