Very exciting news! We have just heard that six girls from the JAGS U16 Cross Country squad have been selected to represent England at the World Schools’ Cross Country Championships, to take place in Malta over 5 days at the end of March. This is an outstanding achievement. A huge congratulations to the squad who will be representing JAGS and England: Natasha Sinha, Fiona Basham, Georgie Hay, Grace de Rome, Sophie Parkes and Ashleigh Campbell.

These Year 10 and 11 girls have not only enjoyed winning gold medals at national level in cross-country and being finalists in the English Schools’ track and field championships, but have some impressive individual records and experience including Natasha (individual Biathlon gold and swimming at international level), Georgie ( U15 800m South of England indoor champion), and Sophie (international tetrathlon).

Congratulations to Juliet Edey who has been selected for the U16 GB Waterpolo squad for the second time and to Georgia Gibson who has been selected for the U14 Surrey Hockey squad.
