On the day that some of our talented young sportswomen are joining Gabby Logan and Sally Gunnell, speakers at Girls Go Gold, a sports conference organised by the GSA, it seems particularly appropriate to celebrate some golden news of our own: congratulations to Natasha Sinha who has recently been selected to be on the England Talent Youth programme for swimming. She has also recently swum in the National Youth championships. Natasha is now ranked nationally in the top 10 for her age group in all four strokes and 4th in the butterfly.
Congratulations also to Emily Rees, selected for the Kent U16 Netball squad and to Ashleigh Campbell, selected for the Surrey U18 County Netball squad.
Good luck to all our players as fixtures begin to get underway.
