Community Music Centre Vacancies Open Mornings

With the Haiti earthquake disaster still fresh in our minds, we were cheered to hear in assembly today that a pupil-led response has resulted in a collection amounting to just over £1000. Well done to all those who initiated and co-ordinated the collection and to those who gave generously to make a difference.

The Referenda Society also believes that we can make a difference. Invited to speak to the Politics Society after school this week, they will consider whether the people’s voice can be heard and other questions about direct democracy.

Congratulations to Dorothy Tang, Year 11, who has achieved Grade 8 with distinction on the ‘cello.

The Year 7, 8 and 9 swimming squads took part in the London Schools’ Relay Finals on Monday 18 January and finished as overall winners.  Very well done to all girls who competed.  Charlotte Douglas collected the trophy on behalf of the squad.
