Wednesday 3 March 2010: Year One Victorian School-Life Workshop

As part of their topic work ‘Looking into Our Past’, Year One experienced a very strict Victorian lesson with Mr Wilberforce from the Freshwater Theatre Company.  The children had to sit up straight with their arms folded, were only allowed to speak when spoken to and had to call Mr Wilberforce, "Sir".  They also had to do some handwriting, arithmetic and a close observation of a potato.  A little scary but huge fun!
