*Good luck to all the girls taking part in the Surrey Indoor Hockey championships this afternoon!*

Well done to the U14 Hockey team who competed so well in the Surrey preliminary tournament last week.  They played four games, won one and drew three and therefore finished in 2nd place, narrowly missing out on the Surrey finals.

Many congratulations to Katie Snowden who won the London Youth Games Cross Country event representing Southwark last Saturday, having won the Mayor’s Mile at the Lord Mayor’s Show the previous weekend!  (See separate news report for details and photos). Victoria Picken also finished very highly in the London Youth Games for her age group, coming in 4th place from a total of over 250 athletes.

Our Year 7 and Year 8 Cross Country teams who both convincingly won the Southwark Championships last week.  Congratulations to the following girls:
Year 7 race – 1st  overall Breagha Campbell + 2nd  Isabella Barber
Year 8 race – 1st overall Victoria Picken (who ran the fastest time for the course out of all the boys and girls participating) + 2nd Hannah Webb.
