Science Week gives us a chance to explore activities that stretch the boundaries between biology, chemistry and physics. Budding sci-fi authors in Y8 loved hearing about how author John Brindley develops ideas for his novels, for example; and Y7 had fun with their ‘Messy Chemistry’ experiments, and handling giant bugs, while Years 10 and 11 enjoyed listening to Francisco Diego discuss ‘Rainbows’, and watching Gareth and John’s ‘Air Show’. Meera Kumar, Y9, went with her year group on a joint Biology and Geography department trip to the Natural History Museum. Click here to read about what she discovered. |
