32 dancers, Years 9-13, were thrilled with their visit to the Royal Opera House on 13 October to see a fantastic performance of ‘Onegin’. The full company of the Royal Ballet danced their way through the drama and passion of John Cranko’s ‘Onegin’, taken from Pushkin’s great novel. The choreography told a brilliant story full of magical moments, from intimate solos to grand ensembles; the swing of fortunes, the drama and tragedy of a duel, and the despair of unrequited love, set against striking stage designs and music taken from Tchaikovsky in a specially created score, brought vividly alive the world of Imperial Russia.
