We held our first Biathlon Championships on Wednesday 29 September: an afternoon of swimming and running events for teams of girls from 6 schools, with squads from Years 5 and 6 at primary level and Years 7 to 9 at senior level.
It was the first time we had fielded a combined team from JAPS and JAGS. Our Y5 won its competition and Zita Collier came 1st overall; the Y6 team came third. At senior school level our Y7, Y8 and Y9 teams all convincingly won their competitions. Breagha Campbell was overall winner of the Year 7 competition, Victoria Picken won the Y8 competition and Natasha Sinha completed the day by winning the Y9 event. Well done to them all.
