Year 9 can expect to be wading in rubbish in May, with the help of the Design Technology department. Plastic bags, recycled trainers, junk jewellery – the aim of this Enterprise Challenge is to for them to develop a concept for a new product with the theme of sustainability. Not only will creative talent be unleashed, but the competing teams across the whole year group will appoint their managing director, product designer, financial director, public relations and advertising manager for what they of course hope will be the winning brief.

With the skills and enthusiasm of the DT department and the Southwark Sustainable Services team, it promises to be an action-packed and rewarding day.
