Spurred on perhaps by the JAGS Juniors and Intermediate teams’ success at the national  track and field finals, Katie went on to deliver a blistering performance the following weekend in the 800m event running for London in the England Schools’ Athletics meeting, winning the race outright. At only 15 years old, Katie is now the England Schools’ U17 Champion in the 800m, and has earned her place in the School’s International Athletics (SIAB) Competition, to be held in Belfast over the weekend of 18/19 July. Katie will be representing England against Scotland, Wales and N Ireland! We’ll all be thinking of you, Katie! It will be 3 weekends of celebrations in a row for your tremendous achievements, whatever happens on Saturday.
