Celebrating poetry in six languages

On Founders Day the Holst Hall belonged to Modern Languages in the afternoon. Girls from all Year groups had the chance to perform the song or poem they had written for the National Free Spirit competition earlier in the year. With the help of English subtitles projected onto a screen next to the stage a supportive audience enjoyed some excellent performances in German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Japanese.
