Val Bloom Visit to JAPS
Performance Poet, Val Bloom visited JAPS on Thursday. In assembly we were all treated to a selection of her wonderful poems in English and Jamaican Patois. Val’s lively manner and encouragement of audience participation began to draw out the latent poet in all of us! Later in the day Y6 girls enjoyed poetry writing workshops with Val and have produced some fantastic work. All in all, a very inspiring day!
