On Friday 13 March, the Y6 netball team went to play a tournament at St Dunstan’s.  Soon after arriving we started our first match which was against Alleyn’s.  We beat them 7-2 which was a good start to the tournament.  Next we played Streatham & Clapham who we also beat quite convincingly.  Our third match against Blackheath Prep was definitely our toughest and by the end of the first half we were losing 1-4!  We played our socks off and eventually drew 5-5.  Our last match was against St Dunstan’s; this was the match we had to win, to win the tournament.  To our relief we won 14-0 and so won the tournament, having not lost a match all afternoon!  Players of the Tournament were Iris Best, for her great play particularly in an unfamiliar position (GK) and Maddie Capstick for her consistent and reliable shooting.
