Speak up!

Gemma Wells and Emma Simmons certainly made their voices heard in the Guild of Educators Public Speaking competition at Eversheds on Monday 16 March. Five other schools participated.  

Both Year 10 girls spoke very well, with Gemma winning the whole competition for her speech entitled ‘The English are a nation without an identifiable culture.’ Emma was mentioned during the adjudication for her excellent use of language in her speech ‘In the battle of the sexes, man will always win.’
