Sound Bites Open Days 2010 SLYO Community Music Centre To Read and So
Spring

We start with a swimming theme this week and this fantastic news: many congratulations to Natasha Sinha, Year 7, who has been ranked number 1 in Kent in the 100m Butterfly and she is now ranked 8th in the country in this event for U12s.

In the Alleyn’s Gala before half term against City of London Freemans, Wimbledon High, Alleyn’s and the Charter, JAGS teams were placed 1st.

Congratulations to the Year 7 swimming team who won the London Schools' Gala on Monday at Lady Eleanor Holles School.

In Hockey against Blackheath the U14 won.

In Netball against Blackheath the U15 ‘A’ & ‘B’ teams won

In Netball against  Godolphin & Latymer the U16 won, U13  lost.

In the first round of the Surrey U13 tournament we won all our matches quite convincingly and now progress to the finals on the 15 March.

Looking further ahead, many congratulations to the following girls who have been chosen to represent London in the English Schools Cross Country Championships: Grace de Rome, Ashleigh Campbell, Ellie Webb, Katie Snowden and Julia Wedmore.

We also congratulated Zainab Mohiuddin, Year 13, on having completed all 7 modules of her European Computer Driving Licence, a significant achievement.

We are looking forward to World Book Day on Thursday 5 March.
