What a wonderful theme! Clarke House chose ‘Wrap-Up-Warm’ and lots of girls enjoyed wearing  hats, scarves and gloves through the day – which was a good antidote to the cold  outside. Assembly looked amazing with so much added colour!  (You can read about the Celebration of Christmas in different languages in a separate news item.)

Getting us further into the Christmas spirit was the House Bazaar at lunchtime, a happy blend of Years 7-13 and staff, all trying their luck in the raffle and at cookie-decorating, and card-making. Some of just headed to the cake stall and pic’n’mix! Members  of Big Band and Wonderbrass entertained us and the visitors from Trinity Hospice, the charity the house had chosen to support, were thrilled to be there and even more impressed that the girls efforts’ had raised over £500. Well done to everyone who made it happen!
