As part of Year One’s topic work on ‘Materials’ the children visited the ‘Get Fired’ Pottery today.  They each took with them a design that they had drawn in class which they then painted on to a tile at the workshop.  The tiles were left at the pottery to be fired and will be a wonderful surprise for some lucky person at Christmas.
