Autumn
Take a last look now at Holly Mozley’s hair: in January she will have lost 12” from its length. Holly, Year 10, is getting her hair cut so that she can donate it to the Little Princesses Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children suffering from cancer and alopecia. Holly came across this organisation when she was on holiday in America. She was struck by the thought that she could make a huge difference, a real contribution to help someone with a serious illness feel a bit better. In a special assembly on Tuesday Holly talked to us about the UK charity
www.littleprincesses.org.uk and we watched a film about the wonderful impact having a wig made from real hair had made to cancer sufferer Melissa.
What Holly is doing is giving someone back a small piece of normality. We can make a contribution too by sponsoring Holly.
