On Friday 9th May the Year 10 Geographers spent a day on the East Sussex coast in order to prepare them for their GCSE coursework. The morning was spent exploring the beautiful town of Rye, where the girls investigated the site, situation and changing functions of the town. In the afternoon we took a short drive to Winchelsea beach, where we split up into 4 groups in order to collect primary data for the GCSE coursework.

We had perfect Geography fieldtrip weather, the girls all worked very hard and they were praised by the owner of the old fashioned sweet shop in Rye for their polite behaviour and lovely manners! A very successful day!

Photos will appear shortly.
