‘As I See It’
18th Exhibition of Young Art in aid of Cancer Research UK
‘Young Art’ has just confirmed that the exhibition of artworks by children from schools all over London will be exhibited at the Francis Peek Centre, Dulwich Park, SE21 in addition to the Royal College of Art exhibition as previously announced. Work will be exhibited in Dulwich from Friday 16th May 1-5pm, Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May 10am – 5pm and Monday 18th May 10am – 1pm.
‘As I See It’ is this year’s theme for the 18th annual 'Young Art’ exhibition in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Ten pupils from James Allen’s Girls’ School have been selected for the exhibition.
Jessica Austin won Third Prize in the 14-16 year group; Florence Ashworth was Highly Commended by The London Sketch Club; Rose Stair was Highly Commended and Sophie Strong, Amelia Walsh and Madeleine Owen-Smith were Commended. Victoria Pearce, Poppy Simon, Helen Simpkiss and Annie Devlin were all chosen for the exhibition.
The selection includes a variety of media, including painting, drawing, textiles and printmaking and admission is free.
