Politics Trip to the Houses of Parliament
Year 12 Politics students went on a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament to complement their AS study of UK government. They heard about the history of the buildings and learnt a lot about parliamentary procedures, including a visit to both chambers of the House. The girls were particularly fortunate to be able to go onto the terrace. The visit enhanced their understanding of politics and gave them a very useful backdrop from which to follow recent events.
