JAGS pupils receive 13 Commendations from Examination Boards
JAGS pupils and staff are celebrating once again this week as special commendation letters have been arriving from the Examination Boards. AQA is presenting a special medal to Katie Carpenter as the top candidate in the country in the Languages, Arts and Performance category, based on her A level Drama marks. Katharine Kenny and Imogen Parry were also commended by AQA for achieving one of the top 5 marks in the country for their A level Physics examinations. Charlotte Thomas was commended by Edexcel for being among the top ten candidates nationally in three A level subjects: French, German and Religious Studies. Lucie Robathan was commended by Edexcel for being in the top ten nationally for Religious Studies both at A level and in the challenging Advanced Extension Award. Laura Burtonshaw was also placed in the top ten nationally for A level Religious Studies, along with Josephine Fogden for A level German. At GCSE Nicola Ingram was commended by Edexcel for being in the top ten nationally for both Chemistry and Physics while Alexandra Butterworth was in the top ten for Double Award Science.
Many congratulations to all these girls for their outstanding achievements.
