Imperial Male Voice Choir
Saturday 10 November, 7.00pm
St Barnabas Church, Dulwich
In aid of St Christopher's Hospice
Yes - we do have male voices at JAGS, one of which belongs to mathematics teacher Roger Nicholls, a member of this internationally celebrated choir.
The choir has toured in France, Switzerland and Slovenia singing in charity concerts and festivals, and were the highest placed British choir in the 2007 International Festival of Male Voice Choirs, which provided a unique opportunity to sing inside the domes at the Eden Project in Cornwall.
On 10 November the choir will be lending its talents in support and celebration of the St Christopher's Hospice's 40th year.
The evening's concert in St Barnabas will be featuring the music of Holst and Vaughan-Williams, who must have passed the church, in its former incarnation, en route to teach at James Allen's Girls' School.
