The Pre-Prep building is a former large Edwardian family home that helps to foster the nurturing environment which is at the heart of our school.  The two Reception classes are situated on the ground floor and share a newly constructed conservatory area.  As part of the Reception classes there is a designated outside area which is seen as an extension of the classroom and which provides the opportunity for first rate Early Years' activities across all six areas of learning.  The well equipped Year One and Year Two classrooms are on the second and third floor and in addition the children are able to use their year group resource room for group activities.  French and Music lessons take place in their own specialist rooms.

The Pre-Prep playground is second to none in the opportunities that it provides for a range of play activities.  Its spacious, natural setting of trees and an extensive lawned area provides the ideal environment for exploration, play and physical exercise.

Most of the day for all of the children is spent in the Pre-Prep building although the children also benefit from the use of the JAPS/JAGS ICT suite and swimming pool as well as on occasion, the wider context of the larger school.
