Once again JAGS girls celebrate the arrival of the New Year with a Spanish flavour: eating grapes! The Spanish tradition called "las doce campanadas" is a well  established Spanish tradition. It involves eating 12 grapes in time with the 12 chimes as the clock strikes midnight on 31 December. Once you have eaten your twelve grapes you are guaranteed 12 months of good luck. That is why they are called in Spanish "las uvas de la suerte".
