Year 13 Spanish students were plunged into the passionate, explosive, intimate world of Latin American artist Frida kahlo in a performance of ‘Viva La Vida’ at the British Museum recently. They found her unpredictable story both tragic and colourful and were clearly affected by the pain she had suffered, reflected so dramatically in her painting. Being in the audience was a powerful and inspirational experience.
