Lucy James, an old JAGS girl and research fellow at The Quilliam Foundation came to talk to us about her work in
the world's first counter-extremism think tank.  The Quilliam Foundation is an independent organisation which challenges Islamism and Jidhadism in the UK and seeks to inspire change and promote inclusivism and pluralism for the benefit of society.  Lucy James was an inspiring speaker who opened our eyes to the harsh reality of radical Islamism in the UK and explained why it is so crucial that think tanks such as The Quilliam Foundation exist in order to raise awareness and help solve the problems.  All the girls who attended the talk found it fascinating and extremely insightful and we felt especially privileged to have the talk given by an old JAGS girl who is doing something so valuable with her life.
