What a great weekend for JAGS sports!

Our Year 8 Biathlon team (Isabel Kelsh, Greta Sharp and Natasha Sinha) were placed first in the National Biathlon Finals at Crystal Palace on Sunday 21 March, and even got to hold the 1948 Olympic torch. Congratulations!

The Year 8 team ran 1000 metres, then swam 1000 metres. Having done so well in the qualification round, the team were ranked second as they went into the finals, but were thrilled to reach first place out of the hundreds of school teams who enter the annual national competition.

Individually, Natasha Sinha was placed 4th and awarded a gold medal for the fastest run in her year group. Greta was placed 5th and Isabel 30th. In Year 9 Sophie Parkes was placed 4th and Grace de Rome 11th. In Year 11 Katie Snowden was placed 7th and awarded a gold medal for the fastest run.
