Community Music - Singing Our Hearts Out

For those of you enjoy letting rip in a monumental piece of singing, we hope you took part in the roof-raising ‘Carmina Burana’ performance in the Holst Hall at JAGS to kick-off this year’s Dulwich Festival in May. Whatever the level of vocal skill and experience, and even for those whose Latin and Middle High German is a little rusty, this was the chance to sing from scratch with other local enthusiasts, rehearsing with conductor Leigh O’Hara, JAGS Director of Music, for 4 hours with a full orchestra and professional soloists, Helen Massey and Ian Macdonald. A fantastic community experience and hugely enjoyable, as you can tell from the photos.
